  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • Lemon slices (optional)
  • Lemon wedges, for garnish (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)


  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (gas mark 6-7). Lightly grease an ovenproof baking dish.
  2. Season chicken breasts on both sides with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, paprika and dried thyme.
  4. Brush the chicken breasts with the seasoned oil mixture, making sure they are well coated.
  5. Arrange the seasoned chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. If you like, place a few slices of lemon on top for extra flavor.
  6. Bake in preheated oven for approx. 25-30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 75°C.
  7. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
