Step 1
Preparation of the breadcrumb mixtureIn a bowl or large Ziploc bag, combine panko crumbs and parmesan. Add salt and pepper to taste if desired.

Preparation of the chickenCut the chicken breasts into uniform-sized strips.

Egg washBeat the eggs in a bowl. Dip each chicken strip into the beaten eggs.
Step 4
Breading Method 1 (Ziploc – more convenient) :Place the egg-dipped chicken strips in the Ziploc bag containing the breadcrumb/parmesan mixture. Seal the bag and shake until the pieces are well coated.
Step 5
Method 2 (bowl – more visual) :Drain the egg-dipped chicken strips slightly and place them in the bowl with the breadcrumb mixture. Mix well to ensure each piece is evenly coated.
Step 6
Optional – second coatingFor a crispier crust, you can dip the chicken strips again in egg and then in the breadcrumb/parmesan mixture.
Step 7
CookingDispose the breaded chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.Bake in an oven preheated to 400 °F (200 °C) for about 20 to 25 minutes, turning them over halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
