Place the block of feta in the center of an ovenproof dish. Arrange the cherry tomatoes around it. Add the minced garlic.
Use a dish that allows for the tomatoes to be evenly distributed around the feta.
Drizzle with olive oil
Pour the olive oil over the feta and tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper.
Feel free to add dried herbs such as thyme or oregano.
Bake
Bake the dish for 25 minutes until the tomatoes burst and the feta turns golden.
Keep an eye on it to prevent the feta from browning too much.
Cook the pasta
Meanwhile, cook your pasta according to the package instructions. Drain them.
Reserve some pasta cooking water to adjust the sauce's texture.
Assemble the dish
After removing from the oven, mash the feta and mix it with the tomatoes to create a sauce. Add the hot pasta and mix well.
Add pasta cooking water if the sauce is too thick.
Serve
Serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil if desired.
Add grated Parmesan for extra flavor.
