
Beef Cube Stew
Instructions
Step 1
Ensure the beef cubes are well seasoned with salt and pepper. Lightly sprinkle them with flour.
Step 2
Heat olive oil in a medium-high heat skillet. Sauté the beef cubes on all sides. Transfer them to the slow cooker afterwards.
Step 3
In the same skillet, sauté the onions and garlic until they are translucent. Add them above the meat in the slow cooker.
Step 4
Add the carrots, red wine, beef broth, potatoes, tomato concentrate, and laurel leaves to the slow cooker. Make sure the meat and vegetables are well submerged in the liquid.
Step 5
Cover and let simmer for 6 to 8 hours on low heat until the meat is tender and melting.
Step 6
Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed before serving. You can also remove the laurel leaves at this point.
Step 7
Serve hot, accompanied by boiled potatoes, rice or fresh bread to soak up the delicious sauce.
