A delicious Quebec tourtière, perfect for family meals.
- 500g ground meat (pork, veal or beef)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 grated potatoes
- 1 shortcrust pastry
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- Salt, pepper, cinnamon, cloves
- Brown the onion and meat in a frying pan.
- Add potatoes, broth and spices. Bring to a simmer.
- Place the mixture in a shortcrust pastry.
- Cover with another pastry, sealing the edges.
- Bake at 180°C for 45 minutes.
A traditional Quebec dish to enjoy with a nice green salad!
