Instructions
Prepare the dough
Mix warm milk and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes. Add flour, sugar, melted butter, and egg, then knead until smooth.
If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour.
Let the dough rise
Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover with a cloth, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour until doubled in size.
Prepare the filling
Mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle and spread with softened butter. Generously sprinkle with cinnamon mixture.
Form the rolls
Roll the dough tightly into a long log. Cut into 2-inch slices and place in a greased pan.
Second rise
Cover the rolls and let rise again for 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
Bake
Bake the rolls for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown.
Make the icing
Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk. Spread the icing over warm rolls.
