    Step 1

    In a large bowl, mix the ground beef and pork. Be sure to mix both types of meat to ensure even distribution of flavors.

    Add grated carrots, eggs, half the ketchup, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, garlic powder, pepper and Dijon mustard. Mix all ingredients until perfectly combined.

    Shape the meat mixture into an oval-shaped meatloaf that will fit nicely into your slow cooker. You can also use a loaf pan to shape the meatloaf before transferring it to the slow cooker.

    Pour the remaining ketchup over the meatloaf, making sure to coat the entire surface.

    Cover the slow cooker with the lid and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, or on high for 3 to 4 hours. Make sure the meatloaf has an internal temperature of at least 70°C before serving.

    Once cooked, carefully remove the meatloaf from the slow cooker and place on a cutting board. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
