Beef, peperoni and bacon stuffed peppers

A pleasant Sunday evening lends itself perfectly to a comforting recipe. Although stuffed peppers may seem melancholy at first glance, their gustatory potential comes to full fruition when prepared with care. In fact, only your creativity can limit the composition of the stuffing for these delicious peppers.

Here's a version inspired directly by richly topped pizzas, with a special touch of bacon. The smoky flavor of bacon, combined with a subtle touch of maple, completes this recipe with unrivaled delicacy. Bon appétit!



    Step 1

    Preheat oven to 350°C.

    Step 2

    Wash the peppers, cut them in half lengthways, and remove the seeds and inner membranes. Add olive oil and bake for 5 minutes, then set aside.

    Step 3

    In a frying pan, pan-fry the minced meat until golden brown.

    Step 4

    Add peperoni, bacon, tomato, tomato sauce, parsley, steak spice and beef concentrate.

    Step 5

    Cook the rice according to the manufacturer's instructions and add the garlic butter.

    Step 6

    Add the rice to the beef mixture and simmer for 15 minutes.

    Step 7

    Fill each chilli half with the meat and rice mixture.

    Step 8

    Sprinkle the grated cheese over the top.

    Step 9

    Broil until cheese is melted and golden brown.
