Croissants with almonds

    Step 1

    Beat butter until creamy

    Step 2

    Gradually beat in the sugar

    Step 3

    Add almond essence, sift together flour and salt

    Step 4

    Add to the creamed mixture, stir well, then stir in the oatmeal and finely chopped almonds.

    Step 5

    Shape the dough into a crescent

    Step 6

    Place on ungreased töles

    Step 7

    Bake for about 30 minutes at 325

    Step 8

    Sift powdered sugar over hot croissants (This makes 2 Douzaines)
